Coconuts Singapore: "Here are the Singaporeans who made it to the first Forbes “30 Under 30 Asia” list"

By Coconuts Singapore

It’s quite a special thing to be part of Forbes’ prestigious “30 Under 30” list, but us Asians have a hard time making it to the roll, considering the hundreds of other luminaries across other continents.

This year however, Asia’s young superstars and powerhouses got the feature they deserve in the first ever “30 Under 30 Asia” list. Starring 300 of the best minds across a gamut of industries under the age of 30, the works of Asia’s young entrepreneurs and social leaders get recognised and celebrated in the inaugural catalogue. The release coincides with a summit here on May 19.

Some names that cropped up in the list should of course be very familiar to most, with the likes of the 9GAG founders, K-Pop superstar G-Dragon and actor Liam Hemsworth getting nods. Of course, young Singaporeans are just as accomplished too for their contribution to the changing landscape of business, technology, media, culture and more.
